What do you think of the idea of curfews for teens??

Has the system become more and more slack when it comes to dealing with youths who behave badly.Schools have no power,most parents don't care what their kids are up to as long as they're out of the house.Free bus travel to under 16's means that they are now able to travel further and cause more anti social problems.It almost seems that the system manipulated society knowing this would happen.Then they could try out curfews on the teens.All the time getting ready for suspect terroist alerts which means they'll implement curfews for everyones safety and ultimately martial law.They've been testing the water in Iraq and New orleans was pretty much left to its own devices,maybe so they could moniter it.Patriot laws in the U.S give their system total control.Laws get passed here through Government discreetly all the time.seems like we are giving them more amd more power over us.Do we know what we are doing??I hope i'm just being para!!

I live in MS. The curfew in my town is 12 midnight which is plenty late enough for a teenager to be out on a Friday or Saturday night. I was one of the parents who cared where my son was and what he was doing. His curfew was 11 on Friday and Saturday nights until he was a senior in high school then it was 12 midnight. He and his friends were at my house most of the time so it wasn't a big problem for me.
