Revitalizing Cream

So, my hair is a little..dead?

Is there any way (shampoos, creams, conditioners) that can revitalize dry, lifeless, thinning (!) hair? Please help!

Got the same problem (fried my hair so bad it felt like wet toilet paper when I washed it... not good). I actually rescued it pretty well with a few products. I did try the Biolustre (got it off eBay) and it did wonders to stop the breakage (although it didn't make my hair shiny or smooth or anything, but does it ever stop breakage..)... So that's step one. Get that, and do one or two treatments.. Takes a LONG time to dry the hair out with that product on, but it's worth it. Then, second thing to do is get a protein treatment. Try the whole Redken Extreme treatment line. Especially the protein ampoules. Then you need a moisturizing treatment too.. I like Aveda's damaged hair repair intensive treatment, but the Redken All Soft is just as good. You can mix the protein ampoules with it. Leave those treatments on all night, with a plastic cap, at least three times a week and avoid any heat damage for a few weeks. Should save your hair a little bit, although don't expect miracles. Oh, and for those who say expensive products are not worth it, these are. You get what you pay for. And DO NOT get anything like pantene... those strip off hair color and perms, so think what that can do to your weakened hair....
