How do you apply a extension tube on my nikon d40x?
I have ordered a extension tube from Hong Kong and it keepos getting stuck so i had to use tweezers to get it off. Now when I look through in the eye view the info is blurry.Should I not attempt it again?
It fits ok on the tube to body part jsut the tube to the lense it gets stuck,there was a small pin which by using tweezers it came off with abit of force.But the info in the viewfinder is still blurry.
Tweezers? Yikes.
Take the camera, lens and extension tube into a camera store and have them look at the combination and see if they can figure out why the tube is getting stuck. It may be that it is not compatible with your camera/lens combination
Extension tubes should attach to your camera just like the lens does with the lens attaching to it. And yes, except for a very small area (the close up range for that extension tube) will be out of focus.
